Training: Cardio, then two hours sparring and training. Evenings are mitts and drills.

When and why did you start training for fighting? Started when I was 13 just for fun. Went pro at age 23 in 2007.

What ranks and titles have you held? Gladiator Challenge heavyweight champ.

Do you have any heroes? My mom and trainers.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means a lot. This is where every fighter wants to be. I hope to make the UFC my home for a while.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to college at Lindenwood University, but didn't finish.
