Biographie

Training: Depends on the day. We do technique and conditioning on Mon, Wed, and Fri, and we spar and wrestle on Tues, Thurs, and Sat. Sunday is rest.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training BJJ in 1999 and competed a lot and figured the next step was MMA.

What titles have you held? Ring of Fire Light heavyweight Champion

Do you have any heroes? Renzo Gracie

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is the opportunity of a lifetime. It’s what every fighter wants.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I have a degree in mathematics from the University of Colorado

What was your job before you started fighting? I bartended and taught BJJ

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 4x Pan American BJJ Champion and 9x Grapplers Quest Champ
