TRAINING: I have strength and conditioning with my physical training coach Jarrett Aki. Following that I typically do a 4-6 mile run. Later in the day I have my pro MMA practice with my team from 3-5 pm, Monday through Friday. Every Saturday I do hard sparring with my team. Sundays I take off to rest.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I have been fighting since I was seven years old; I feel I was born to fight.
What ranks and titles have you held? Strikeforce interim welterweight champ, WEC middleweight champ, Bellator Fight Master champ
Do you have any heroes? Randy Couture
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means the world to me to be back in the UFC. I am more excited now than when I first got in.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I want to get a Criminal Justice degree at GCC.
What was your job before you started fighting? Fighting is the only job I ever had.
