TRAINING: I am doing the same training as always, but I am studying Octagon fight techniques and watching UFC videos every day. I am also training in kickboxing with Riki Onodera.

Thoughts on opponent, Dennis Siver? Dennis is good striker, but I like a striking fight too.
When and why did you start training for fighting? My brother, Hiroki Kotani, is a fighter and he taught me MMA techniques. I my career in 2000, when I was 17.

What ranks and titles have you held? Amateur champion in Rings

Do you have any heroes? I like WWE pro wrestling, so my hero is Shawn Michaels. I like Ken Shamrock too.

What is your favorite technique? I like punching techniques. My kickboxing teacher is Riki Onodera, who has taught Rumina Sato and Ryo Chonan.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The Octagon is a dangerous place, but it is my dream to fight in the UFC.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I like sweets and cakes, so I want to become a patissier (pastry chef). I studied in the patissier special school.

What was your job before you started fighting? Student.
