Biographie

TRAINING: Usually I train twice a day. Sparring in the morning and then some conditioning training in the evening.

 

When and why did you start training for fighting? I have played different sports all my life, and when I took my first class of kickboxing in 1997 I was hooked. I started MMA in 2001.

 

What ranks and titles have you held? Cage (European MMA promotion) featherweight champion with five title defenses, BJJ purple belt

 

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything to me. UFC is the top promotion with the highest level of competition

 

What was your job before you started fighting? Still working as a bouncer in a local night club

 

Ranks in any martial arts styles: FILA (International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles) 2011: European championships grappling no gi 1st place 2011 155lbs, 2011: European championships grappling gi 3rd place 2011 165lbs, 2010: European championships grappling no gi 3rd place 2010 155lbs, 2010: European championships combat grappling 1st 2010 155lbs
