Cerrone Makes 170 Debut vs. Means

Longtime lightweight contender Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone wasn't going to stay idle for long after his December loss to 155-pound champion Rafael dos Anjos. So it's no surprise that the popular striker will be back in the Octagon on Sunday, Feb. 21 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

But this time he'll be fighting at welterweight, as he faces Tim Means in the five-round main event, which airs live on FOX Sports 1. Tickets go on sale on January 22.

Winner of eight of his last nine bouts, with five of those victories coming by knockout or submission, the all-action Cerrone will be meeting a like-minded foe in Albuquerque veteran Means, who has had his hand raised in five of his last six fights. Included in this stretch for "The Dirty Bird" are knockouts of John Howard and Dhiego Lima and a submission of George Sullivan, setting the stage for an early Fight of the Year candidate in the Steel City.
