Dos Santos, Lewis on the move in latest rankings

The latest UFC rankings are out, and the heavyweight division picture is now a little bit clearer after UFC Fight Night Zagreb.

This past weekend’s card, which featured five heavyweight fights including the main event between Junior Dos Santos and Ben Rothwell, delivered quite the shakeup to the rankings with a new entrant within the top 15 and eight total position changes.

Derrick Lewis is the biggest winner from the weekend, leapfrogging from outside of the charts to No. 13 after his Performance of the Night showing against Gabriel Gonzaga in the co-main, while main eventer Dos Santos also reaped benefits from his victory by taking over the No. 4 spot in the charts. For his part, Rothwell fell two spots to No. 6 in the division after his unanimous decision loss in the main event.

UFC’s big boy division wasn’t the only one seeing changes. Maryna Moroz moved up a spot to No. 8 in the strawweight division after her victory over Cristina Stanciu.
