Between camps, his hobbies including getting haircuts, getting tattoos and LOLing. He is sponsored by Ecko clothing company but longs for the day when Crocs are allowed inside the Octagon.

Since breaking through in TUF 7, he has gone 3-1 in the UFC including a Fight of the Night performance last September. He is actively training for his next match and says his dream is to "get hit less than in the Nate Quarry fight."
