Seven Added to UFC 101 Card in Philadelphia

The card for the UFC’s initial visit to Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center on August 8th continues to get stronger and stronger with the addition of a number of bouts to the UFC 101 slate.

In main card action, middleweight Ricardo Almeida and lightweight Kurt Pellegrino will travel down the New Jersey Turnpike to Philly to battle Kendall Grove and Josh Neer, respectively. Also on the pay-per-view portion of the card, which is headlined by the lightweight title bout between BJ Penn and Kenny Florian and the light heavyweight showdown between Forrest Griffin and Anderson Silva, will be a welterweight clash pitting The Ultimate Fighter season seven winner Amir Sadollah against unbeaten Johny Hendricks.

Also added to the UFC 101 card today were the following matchups:

Tamdan McCrory vs John Howard
Matt Riddle vs Dan Cramer
George Sotiropoulos vs Rob Emerson
Jesse Lennox vs Danillo Villefort
