Fight Night Halifax: Post-Fight Bonus Recap

Six fighters joined UFC Canada Direction of Operations Tom Wright at the Fight Night Halifax post-fight press conference: Mitch Gagnon, Ultimate Fighter Nations' champions Elias Theodorou and Chad Laprise, batanmweight winner Raphael Assuncao, and headliners Tarec Saffiedine and Rory MacDonald.

Performance of the Night went to Canada's Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Rory MacDonald for their strong performances. Aubin-Mercier finished Jake Lindsey midway through the second round of their FOX Sports 1 prelims bout while MacDonald became the first person to stop Tarec Saffiedine with strikes.

Fight of the Night went to Patrick Holohan and Chris Kelades, who droppped down to flyweight and accepted the bout on just five days notice. Holohan controlled the opening round, only to watch Kelades roar back in the second and third to earn the decision.

Each bonus winner was awarded $50,000.
