In one of the best fights in recent history in the heavyweight division, Junior Dos Santos won a unianimous decision over Stipe Miocic in a five-round war.
Miocic and Dos Santos were given fight of the night for their efforts. Ian Entwistle and Matt Mitrione each earned performance bonuses, Entwistle for his heel hook submission against Anhtony Birchak and Mitrione for his first-round TKO stoppage against Gabriel Gonzaga.
All four fighters earned an additional $50k.
UFC President Dana White was joined on stage at the post fight press conference by seven fighters: Miocic, Rafael dos Anjos, Matt Mitrione, John Moraga, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Alistair Overeem, and Henry Cejudo.
Junior Dos Santos was late to the press conference while doctors attended to his injuries.
The announced attendence was 15,300 for a gate of $1.5 million.
