UFC on FUEL TV 8 Post-Fight Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to find out who took home Fight Night bonuses at UFC on FUEL TV 8...
Four fighters attended the UFC on FUEL TV 8 post-fight press conference - Wanderlei Silva, Mark Hunt, Yushin Okami, and Takeya Mizugaki.

Silva and Hunt both earned Knockout of the Night bonuses for their stoppages of Brian Stann and Stefan Struve, respectively. Silva and Stann engaged in an all-out brawl that also earned Fight of the Night. After a more conservative start to the second frame, Silva unleashed a right cross-left hook combo that starched Stann. "The Axe Murderer" followed up with a few ground strikes before the referee stepped in to end the bout.

Hunt and Struve also put on an entertaining fight, with the momentum shifting several times. Late in the third round, Hunt tagged Struve with a hook that sent the giant Dutchman crashing to the mat, his jaw apparently broken. Hunt turned and walked off without throwing any additional punches.

With no submission victories at UFC on FUEL TV 8, no Submission of the Night bonus was awarded.

Each bonused fighter received $50,000 for their efforts. Wanderlei Silva received a total of $100,000 for earning both Fight of the Night and Knockout of the Night.
