Muhammad Makes Debut against Jouban in July

Unbeaten as a pro, Chicago's Belal Muhammad will make his Octagon debut on July 7 in Las Vegas when he faces Alan Jouban in a welterweight bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Muhammad replaces the injured Nordine Taleb on the UFC Fight Night card, which is headlined by the lightweight championship matchup between Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez. The event will air live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

A pro since 2012, the 27-year-old Muhammad is perfect in his MMA career, with three wins, including his most recent victory over Steve Carl in April, coming by way of knockout. In Jouban, he will face an all-action fighter who has won four of his six UFC bouts. The Louisiana-born Jouban is coming off a first-round knockout of Brendan O'Reilly in March.
