Diaz camp: Here's why he'll beat McGregor again

Conor McGregor’s camp had its say. Now it’s Nate Diaz’ crew’s turn.

Ahead of the highly anticipated main event at UFC 202 on Saturday, Diaz’ camp has moved to Las Vegas for final preparations. It was during these sessions that Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu coach Randy Spence opened up about why he thinks his pupil Diaz will once again defeat McGregor in their rematch.

“This is fighting, anything can happen. We’re not stupid here, we know. But the odds are definitely in Nathan’s favor all the way around” Spence said on Episode 3 of UFC 202 Embedded. “Conor is doing the right things – it just might not be enough.

“People think ‘Oh, he’s really good because he’s mentally tough,’ which he is. Or ‘He’s really good because he’s in good shape.’ But I think people underplay the technical side – he’s a martial artist, not just an athlete. He still learns from Cesar and he’s really a student.”

For his part, McGregor is also in Las Vegas working with his team. Watch Episode 3 above to see how he’s working with striking coach Owen Roddy and much more.

Tickets for UFC 202 at T-Mobile Arena are still available. For those who can’t make it to Las Vegas this weekend can pre-order the Pay-Per-View digitally here.
