Adesanya steps up his rapid assault on the UFC's middleweight division when he headlines The Ultimate Fighter finale against Brad Tavares on Friday (Saturday NZ time), a day before Dan Hooker looks to continue his winning streak against Gilbert Burns at UFC 226.
It gives a strong New Zealand flavour to the UFC's biggest promotion of the year - International Fight Week - in Las Vegas, made all the more remarkable by the fact they both train out of the same gym.
